The Navajo Nation’s Department of Justice (NNDOJ) will continue its tradition of hosting BC Law pro bono spring break volunteers during this semester’s spring break from March 7-11, 2022. This opportunity is co-sponsored with BC Law’s NALSA. Opportunities remain to volunteer with three out of four participating NNDOJ Units. This is a great way to gain legal experience while serving the community and logging pro bono hours towards the BC Law Pro Bono Program’s voluntary 50 hour pro bono pledge.
Please review the NNDOJ website to learn more about their work. Interested students can apply by emailing to BC Law’s Public Interest and Pro Bono Program Director, Michelle Grossfield:
- a brief statement of interest and relevant experience; and
- a pdf version resume.
Volunteers will be selected based on interest, relevant experience and timeliness of application until all volunteer opportunities are filled.
