Join the Washington Council of Lawyers (WCL) and their panelists – lawyers who have experience with remote representations, including hearings in D.C. Superior Court. They are:
- Yvette Banker, Federal Government Pro Bono Lawyer
- Ashley Carter, DC Volunteer Lawyers Project
- Sébastien Monzón Rueda, Legal Counsel for the Elderly
- Jenadee Nanini, D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center
Lise Adams, D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center, will moderate the conversation.
Panelists will lead a candid discussion of how to make pro bono work in the virtual world. They will highlight the strategies, tools, and skills that enable pro bono volunteers to navigate virtual client interactions, witness prep and investigation, co-counseling, and remote court proceedings.
