Calling all 1Ls! The Public Interest Law Foundation 1L Board Application is now open. PILF is looking for excited, public-interested oriented 1Ls to join our board as 1L chairs. 1L Board members will have an opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities including fundraising, flyer and website design, alumni outreach, and event planning. Board members will also be encouraged to facilitate communication with PILF general members and those who are a part of the PILF Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Working Group. PILF’s Mentorship Program connects public interest-oriented 2L and 3L students with 1Ls who are considering careers in the nonprofit and public sectors. Mentors can share advice about everything from summer internships and course selection to joining student organizations.
