Join law students from BC, BU, Harvard, Yale, NYU, and UNH for an information session with the New Hampshire Democratic Party’s Voter Protection team to learn more about Voter Protection: Wednesday, September 23rd from 7PM to 8PM. Sign up here: https://www.mobilize.us/nhvopro/event/327511/
Be a legal poll observer! Your legal expertise is critical in mitigating voter suppression tactics on election day. You will be reporting incidents voters face at the polls, long lines, and potential poll closures to a team of lawyers to address. Comprehensive safety and health protocols will be planned for Election day.
If you’re already committed to poll observing, fill out this form: orgnh.us/volunteer
Get trained in New Hampshire election law and answer voter’s questions on our hotline! Shifts are completely remote for three hours at a time, and you will be equipped with a comprehensive manual. They are staffed Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm EST and Saturday 12:00pm-6:00pm EST by lawyers and students, and they’ll be expanding to evening hours very soon. Sign up for their next training here: https://www.mobilize.us/nhvopro/event/323145/
In addition to developing a thorough understanding of election law in a battleground state while earning pro bono hours, you will be connected with New Hampshire’s strong network of like-minded lawyers. This is a historic election, and they want you to be a part of it!
