Judge Cohen is a BC Law alum and a Judicial Team Leader in the Civil Trial Division of the Court of Common Pleas, which is the top level trial court in Pennsylvania. Judge Cohen is hiring for two clerkship positions – one-year and two-year clerkships. Interviews will take place via Zoom beginning on September 15.

Recent law school graduates and third year law students with outstanding academic records and excellent research and writing skills are invited to apply to serve in the Rhode Island Supreme Court Trial Court Law Clerk Department, which serves Rhode Island’s trial courts.  

A department of seventeen law clerks serves the Superior, the District, and the Family Courts and the Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal.  Eleven law clerks are based in Providence, and six law clerks are assigned among the county courthouses and the Garrahy Judicial Complex. The law clerks do legal research and writing in the areas of civil, criminal, family, administrative, and zoning law.  Specific duties include preparing research memoranda and writing draft decisions.  

• The Appeals Court expects to hire approximately twenty-two law clerks for the 2021–2022 court year (August 26, 2021 through August 23, 2022).
• Application materials must be submitted between August 1 and August 31, 2020.
• Interviews will be conducted and hiring decisions will be made on a rolling basis between September and December, 2020.

The Judges of the Superior Court of Delaware are now inviting applications from highly motivated law students or recent law school graduates to serve as judicial law clerks in Wilmington, Delaware for the 2021-2022 term.  The Superior Court is Delaware’s statewide court of general jurisdiction, handling both civil and criminal cases.  It is also an intermediate appellate court, hearing appeals from lower courts and more than 50 administrative agencies. The Delaware Superior Court is consistently ranked number one overall by the nation’s top corporate counsel and senior litigators, and is recognized as the premier court of general jurisdiction in the country.  The busy mixture of complex commercial, criminal, insurance, tort, and other litigation affords a challenging and unique judicial clerkship.  The Court’s law clerks will be expected to review pleadings,  complete research assignments, actively participate in decisional conferences and other proceedings where appropriate, and draft bench memoranda and preliminary opinions.

The application period for law clerk positions at the Supreme Judicial Court for the court term that will begin on Monday, August 30, 2021, through Tuesday, August 30, 2022, begins on Monday, June 8, 2020, and ends on Friday, September 25, 2020.

The Supreme Judicial Court will have fourteen openings for law clerks in the 2021-2022 court year.
